There are a ton of similarities amongst Sam Levinson’s new display The Idol and his other HBO strike Euphoria. They’re both of those dim, raw tales that aren’t scared to thrust the boundaries of sexuality on tv, but even apart from their shared tone, the two displays may be essentially related in-universe. The Idol premiere showcased a Euphoria star in a transient scene, and Alex Demie’s The Idol cameo has Euphoria lovers wanting to know if Jocelyn might’ve been a Euphoria Significant graduate.

Amid all the pop-star chaos in The Idol’s premiere, it was 1 incredibly modest part that really made a massive influence for viewers acquainted with creator Sam Levinson’s function. When Jocelyn is out partying at a club with her dancer Dyanne and assistant Leia, they do some photographs and dance about with a quite familiar experience. Alexa Demie only popped up for a moment in the center of the premiere episode, but her swift cameo was sufficient to tear a gap in the Euphoria-verse. However Demie’s The Idol character is an unnamed club-goer, admirers ended up rapid to guess that she may well have been in character as Euphoria baddie Maddy Perez.
