How To Buy Tickets For TWICE’s ‘Ready To Be’ World Tour

[ad_1]

TWICE is going worldwide again, baby. In February, the K-pop girl group announced their fifth world tour in support of their mini album, Ready To Be. Recently, the singers extended the tour by adding eight more dates. When TWICE member Chaeyoung told Nylon last month that the group is looking to go global in the next phase of their career, she meant it.

On Apr. 23, TWICE announced their Europe and Southeast Asia trek of their Ready To Be tour. This run starts in September, and they’ll visit cities across countries of Singapore, Thailand, France, Germany, the Philippines, and the United Kingdom. The singers were originally scheduled to play six shows during that month. However, they recently added two more dates to their Europe shows “due to high demand.”

Presale for their Europe shows (London, Paris, and Berlin) began on Apr. 27, but as of now, it appears Paris and Berlin presale tickets are no longer available. The London show presale is currently available, but only Live Nation and Ticketmaster members have access, so fans must register on either site. The general sale for these shows will occur on Apr. 28 through Ticketmaster. TWICE hasn’t released ticket information for their other new tour dates.

These new shows follow their original announcement of the tour. Kicking off in mid-April, the first part of this excursion sees TWICE — comprising of members Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu — playing 17 arena shows across 14 cities. They’ll begin their worldwide trek in South Korea, Australia, and Japan before heading to the U.S. and Canada for nine shows.

These tour stops are historic for TWICE, as they’ll be the first K-pop group in the U.S. to headline in MLB and NFL stadiums. They also held a similar title during their fourth world tour last year. According to Rolling Stone, the singers became the first female K-pop group to perform at a U.S. stadium after performing two nights at Los Angeles’ Banc of California Stadium in May 2022.

Below, everything else to know about TWICE’s upcoming tour.

When does TWICE’s tour begin?

TWICE’s world tour kicked off with two shows on Apr. 15 & 16 in Seoul, South Korea.

What will TWICE perform on tour?

Fans can expect to hear tracks from their Ready To Be album, including lead singles “Moonlight Sunrise” and “Set Me Free.”

The glossy, R&B-inspired synths of “Moonlight Sunrise” see TWICE exploring the excitement of falling in love with cheeky lyrics and sultry twists on drinking. The singers dare their crushes to take a Tequila Sunrise shot on them under the moonlight, because there’s nothing steamier than a NSFW drinking game. Their range of whispery-sweet to warm vocals against these arrangements is the cherry on top, especially when they offer breathy high notes in the outro.

Meanwhile, “Set Me Free” has a peppier tempo. Over a disco-funk beat, the group gushes about how their significant other inspires them to love freely.

As for other sonic material, TWICE might possibly sprinkle in tracks from their 2022 album, BETWEEN 1&2. They could also allot time for Nayeon to perform music from her solo discography. So far, she’s the only member of TWICE to release a debut solo album.
